Raymond J. Bourque

Hall of Fame Defensemen Ray Bourque began his 22 year NHL career with the Boston Bruins in 1979. As that year’s best rookie, he won the Calder Memorial Trophy, which was just the beginning of a career marked by, among other achievements, 5 Norris trophies, as the leagues best defenseman, 13 first team All Star births, and 6 second team All Star births.

In 1999, after 20 years with the Bruins, Mr. Bourque was traded to the Colorado Avalanche; where he capped his career in 2001 by winning the Stanley Cup. Currently, Mr. Bourque is involved with his various business interests and is active in charitable work. Mr. Bourque’s service on CFC’s Board of Directors is on a voluntary basis.


Colleen M. Coyne

A 1998 Olympic Gold Medallist, Ms. Coyne was a 1993 graduate of the University of New Hampshire; where she was an All American in lacrosse as well as a member of the two time ECAC champion Women’s Hockey Team, which she captained in her senior year. Her athletic accomplishments also include being named to the All Eastern Athletic Conference in her senior year and competing internationally as a member of the Women’s Select Hockey Team in 1993, 1995, 1996, and 1997.

Currently, Ms. Coyne is an Inbound Marketing Consultant at HubSpot, Inc, Cambridge, MA. Ms. Coyne’s service on CFC’s Board of Directors is on a voluntary basis. She also serves as CFC’s Clerk.


Cleon N. Daskalakis

The 1997 Founder of CFC, Mr. Daskalakis is a graduate of Boston University’s School of Management, which he attended on a full hockey scholarship. While at Boston University, Mr. Daskalakis won the Bean Pot Championship in 1982 and he was named a Second Team ECAC All Star in 1983. In 1984, he was named a First Team ECAC All Star, an All American, and first runner up for the Hobey Baker Award, which is awarded annually to the nation's best collegiate hockey player.

Also in 1984, Mr. Daskalakis signed as a free agent with the Boston Bruins of the NHL.In 1985, as a member of the American Hockey League’s Hershey Bears, he won the Calder Cup and in 1990 he was named ECAC goaltender of the decade.

After playing professionally in the AHL, NHL, and in Europe, Mr. Daskalakis retired from hockey in 1993. Currently, Mr. Daskalakis is the President of Celebrity Marketing, Inc., a sports marketing and event production firm that he founded in 1996, and a Trustee of the New England Sports Museum, which he serves on a volunteer basis. Mr. Daskalakis’ service on CFC’s Board of Directors is on a voluntary basis. He also serves as CFC’s President.


John J. McGlynn

A graduate of Suffolk Law School, Mr. McGlynn also holds a BA from Colgate University. He has been an attorney for over 20 years and is currently a professional lobbyist representing the interests of several major corporations. Additionally, Mr. McGlynn also maintains a private practice where he specializes in family law. His personal interests include golfing and baseball. Mr. McGlynn’s service on CFC’s Board of Directors is on a voluntary basis.


Joseph Wadland

A graduate of Suffolk Law School, Mr. Wadland also holds a M.Ed. in public education from Boston University and a BA from Bridgewater State College. An attorney for over 20 years, Mr. Wadland served the federal government for 10 years as the administrator of the Federal Tort Claims Act.

He is currently a corporate attorney in private practice where he specializes in business litigation and represents the interests of several Fortune 100 companies. His personal interests include golfing and running, and he also volunteers as a Director on the Boards of Central Catholic High School and the Lawrence Boys and Girls Clubs. Mr. Wadland’s service on CFC’s Board of Directors is on a voluntary basis. He also serves as CFC’s Treasurer.
